Jackie:
Hello everyone, my name is Jackie.

I'm a very happily married woman, sharing my life with my perfect soul mate, Steve. We're both 44 yrs old and own Keefer's Quality Painting, working out of the Spring, Texas area.

My husband Steve has been in the interior/exterior painting business for over 20 years, here in Texas since 2001, carrying over from in his home state of Oregon where his business first began. I was in the security/corrections field for over 15 years until June of 2007, when I decided to make the commitment to redirect my life with the man of my dreams. I've always been active in my family and friends' remodeling and renovation projects as an outreaching hobby, loving the opportunity to help make their homes a more beautiful place to live, so taking a step into a different career wasn't a hard decision, and now I have monetary profits in-return for my labor. *grin.

These days, we're currently travel within a 100 mile radius to meet the needs of our current and new clients, whom many are referred to us. That is one of our thankful blessings: having satisfied customers that recommend our services to others means little-to-none in advertising costs. And,
working with Steve has been a wonderful experience...hopefully God blesses us with many, many years together.

Interior Painting

Step by step of our interior painting process:

Walls & Ceilings

Cover floors of areas to be painted.
Apply masking paper and tape to base boards.
Lay plastic covers over any furnishings in room.
Fill all nail holes and cracks in walls.
Large holes in drywall will be cut square, patched with new drywall, taped, floated, sanded, and textured to match existing texture. Loose drywall tape will be replaced, floated, sanded, and textured to match existing texture.
Any new drywall repairs will be primed.
Any Water stains will be primer sealed. (Oil based Kilz)
Top coat applied by roller and brush. (Sherwin Williams products recommended)
Apply second coat, if needed or requested by our client.

Woodwork

All woodwork is sanded.
All holes & cracks/seams will be filled or caulked.
We can replace moldings with too much damage for wood filler to match properly, if requested by our client.
Any new wood or repairs will be primed before painting.
Apply topcoat of enamel (Oil based or Acrylic depending on previous surface) Oil based paint is always recommended for woodwork.
Apply second coat, if needed or requested by our client.

Exterior Painting

Step by step of our exterior painting process:

Apply bleach/water mixture to all molded and mildewed areas.
Pressure wash home/structure.
Remove any remaining loose paint.
Replace any rotted wood/siding.
Prime all raw wood or new wood areas.
Caulk all cracks/seams in fascia, soffets, siding, windows, door frames.
Apply masking/tarps to all necessary areas, (windows, brick, shrubs, cement patio's walkways, etc.)
Apply top coat of 100% acrylic Latex exterior paint (Sherwin Williams Recommended) to all siding and trim.
Apply second coat, if needed or requested by our client.
All topcoats applied by sprayer and brush.
Cleanup of all masking and used supplies at the end of each day on the project.
