Step by step of our interior painting process:

Walls & Ceilings
  1. Cover floors of areas to be painted.
  2. Apply masking paper and tape to base boards.
  3. Lay plastic covers over any furnishings in room.
  4. Fill all nail holes and cracks in walls.
  5. Large holes in drywall will be cut square, patched with new drywall, taped, floated, sanded, and textured to match existing texture. Loose drywall tape will be replaced, floated, sanded, and textured to match existing texture.
  6. Any new drywall repairs will be primed.
  7. Any Water stains will be primer sealed. (Oil based Kilz)
  8. Top coat applied by roller and brush. (Sherwin Williams products recommended)
  9. Apply second coat, if needed or requested by our client.

Woodwork
  1. All woodwork is sanded.
  2. All holes & cracks/seams will be filled or caulked.
  3. We can replace moldings with too much damage for wood filler to match properly, if requested by our client.
  4. Any new wood or repairs will be primed before painting.
  5. Apply topcoat of enamel (Oil based or Acrylic depending on previous surface) Oil based paint is always recommended for woodwork.
  6. Apply second coat, if needed or requested by our client.
