Hello everyone, my name is Jackie.
I'm a very happily married woman, sharing my life with my perfect soul mate, Steve. We're both 44 yrs old and own Keefer's Quality Painting, working out of the Spring, Texas area.
My husband Steve has been in the interior/exterior painting business for over 20 years, here in Texas since 2001, carrying over from in his home state of Oregon where his business first began. I was in the security/corrections field for over 15 years until June of 2007, when I decided to make the commitment to redirect my life with the man of my dreams. I've always been active in my family and friends' remodeling and renovation projects as an outreaching hobby, loving the opportunity to help make their homes a more beautiful place to live, so taking a step into a different career wasn't a hard decision, and now I have monetary profits in-return for my labor. *grin.
These days, we're currently travel within a 100 mile radius to meet the needs of our current and new clients, whom many are referred to us. That is one of our thankful blessings: having satisfied customers that recommend our services to others means little-to-none in advertising costs. And,
working with Steve has been a wonderful experience...hopefully God blesses us with many, many years together.
Steve: Howdy Y’all! I’m Steve and what Jackie said was true, I’ve been in the painting business for over 20 years, beautifying homes and structures all over Oregon and Texas. I take my work very serious, insuring the right paints and techniques are used each and every time. I’ve never believed in taking advantage of a customer’s ignorance from their lack of decorating, remodeling and/or repair knowledge to sell cheap products while inflating bids. Every client is treated the same, receiving quality work for a fair price. “Do the right thing, even when no one is looking.” That’s the philosophy our business is structured on. When we’re not working, Jackie and I like to spend our time together having fun. We go out to C & W dancing from time to time, bicycle riding, trail walking, traveling around to local areas and plan a few trips out of state. We enjoy having friends and family over for outdoor BBQ and playing games. I also played guitar ina band in my younger years, so occasionally I’ll play or sing karaoke.
